Every summer since 1995, a one-of-a-kind fireworks
competition is held in Quebec City. Teams of international-level
fireworks artists create fantastic masterpieces on a natural tableau
consisting of the night sky and the stunning waterfall below. Thousands
gather to admire the carefully orchestrated flashes of chromatic
radiance high overhead. The
fourteen edition of the Grands Feux Loto-Québec
will take place from July 19 to August 6, 2008.
