Marcel Dallaire and Frank Furtado

Frank Furtado has worked in the entertainment industry in Quebec
and around the world for over thirty years. He has produced numerous
international musical fireworks competitions. His notable achievements
include designing and producing the Benson & Hedges
International held in Montreal every year, the Benson & Hedges Symphony of
Fire in Toronto and Vancouver, for which he is still the delegated producer,
and the Dunhill Symphony of Fire in Cape Town, South Africa.
Marcel Dallaire has accumulated over thirty years' experience in the live
entertainment and special event industry in Quebec, during which time he helped
steer the launch of Cirque du soleil and Cheval-théâtre. He is
president of Consul'Art, a consulting firm specializing in the arts, culture
and special events, and one of the leading event organizers in the Greater
Quebec Area. From 1987 to 1992, he was general manager of the International
Quebec City Summer Festival and Inter-Nation-Art. From 1999 to 2006, he was
president of the Fonds de stabilisation et de consolidation des arts et de
la culture du Québec. Since 2003, he has been chairman of the board
for the Quebec City Festival of Sacred Music. In 2005, Festivals et Événements
Québec presented him with an award, the Prix Hommage, in recognition
of his exceptional contribution in developing Quebec City's festival and special
event industry.
